History of the Arirang Party
Untill being made by this shape of Arirang Party, God has helped us and many people has paid labors and services.
As if just an individual Abraham had called by God finally today Israel was born and like God's salvation has spread out all over the world, first time this party which was established by a man who had blessed from God's wish and its shape has confirmed by God's grace step by step while people who have same wills meet and see again and again.
I. A man's royal summons and formation of a political party.
12/1972 Kim, Gwangjong could not have a faith even he had attended church for a long time, he prayed God that if he could meet Him as his savior he wanted to swear an oath that he will deliver words of God to the whole world.
05/1980 Occured Gwangju civil movement and started ex-president Chun Doowhan's oppresive politics.
1981 Kim had entered Seoul National University and served as a member of Navigator Mission Group. Those days most mission groups in colleges and churches in Korea were not concerned about social justices including especially Mr. Chun's injustices, so Kim got angry and gave up attending mission group and church and finding God too.
1982 While Kim had read variety prophets' book of O.T. which were written of social justices and advices of faith to God and letters of Aptsole paul who delivered God's words in spite of his old and weak limbs, Kim decided to deliver words of God following his swear an oath.
1988 Kim entered LG Chemical Co. such like a big company, because he wanted know about economic field before entering a political field. 2 years after he retired, Kim thought that if he worked a big company so longer he could be gotten a selfish-mind through competitions rather than fair and righteousness be persued.
1990 Kim prayed about reentering to Seoul Univ. if God wanted to him to do politicts for His honor.
1991 Kim admitted through the examination into Seoul Univ. again with major of Foreign Affairs.
1993 Organized `Nation and Righteousness' with students of Kim's class and graduated courses of this school. They tried to find alternative plans through the Bible study and human studies and social siences following God's fair and justice.
10/1995 Kim took part in as a head of party's policy in a proceccing of a formation of political party its name of `the Reformed New Party'
II. Processing of regular formation as a political party
01/1996 When `the Reformed New Party' had decided to unify with `the Democratic Party', then Kim had left this party and made up his mind to establish his individual party with some ex-members of RNP.
02/1996 Kim was ready to build `the Korea Jusrice Party' assuring political activities which were based on the worth of "fair and righteousness" in Isaiah 9:7
04/1996 By incompleted the above party, Candidate Kim ran for the election to be a 15th national assembly member as an independent, with no party in Jeonju City. But after this election the members of Kim returned to their daily lives, be tied up a formation of this party.
06/1996 Kim Gwangjong took up his post as the principal of Seoul Bethany School(an early education center for the mentally handicapped chlidren) and was actived to social welfare field.
01/2000 Party's domain name was confirmed of www.irparty.com
04/2000 Kim prepared to be a candidate of the Korea Justice Party for the Genenral Election in Korea.
13/04/00 Kim could not established a political party again, he ran for the general election in Jeonju City. After this election Jeonju members'meeting started.
04/2001 Seoul members meeting started at Allen Hall in Yunse Univ.
10/2001 Had an opening ceremony of Seoul Office in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It was based on Amos 5:24 of the O.T. `But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!'
01/2002 Discussed this party's name as Arirang.
05/2002 The formation of the party's projectors were 76 members.
11/2002 The title of the party was decided as ARIRANG-Absolutely Righteous Immanuel Amid National Government-.
30/11/02 The memorial Service was held by the confirmation of party's name as ARIRANG.
Above all we thank God who recieved the Service.
We pray that the Service should be recived by God and it could be under His glory.
